I am still waiting to get the professional photos of this space, but I thought I'd give you something to nibble on in the mean time. This three wall mural was done for the new "Departure" restaurant at the top of the Nines Hotel in Portland OR. Skylab architecture did a stellar job designing the the space to feel like a modern spin on a luxury yaught. Modern and sleek, Departure doesn't have a single right angle in the place!The murals reflect being lost, created by multiple land masses from varying nautical charts. The locations have been altered to reference the team that help actualize the space along with some tongue and cheek play on words. To top it all off this restaurant has one of the best views in all of Portland. Next time you are in town, I know where I'll take you to grab a drink! Enjoy :)
